Hey, fastener friends. Craig here to talk about the “spooky season.” I know, I know I’m a little late, with Halloween already passing us by, but you see my dog ate my script. Does that excuse still work in school like it did in the 80’s?

Nevertheless, with the leaves falling off the trees and the sun going down earlier, the Halloween season really sets the mood: ghosts, goblins, skeletons, witches, and their cauldrons. Of course, none of this is really “spooky” at our ages, it’s just fun to pretend that it is. Want to know what’s even scarier than the Halloween season though? How about the horrors of running out of a specific metric fastener. That’s right — all those metric fasteners that are so critical to OEM production lines around the country.

I can’t even imagine the horrors of an entire production line shutting down because you were unable to find the exact metric fastener you were searching for. Now, that’s a real “ghost in the machine,” and one that can give our customers nightmares. While also drastically effecting their company checkbooks.

So what can you do to prevent this nightmare? How about going trick-or-treating with the kids in hope that your neighbors are passing out metric nuts and bolts? No? Not going to happen?
