Craig Penland: Thoughts from the deer stand. 

So lately, I’ve been thinking that thankfulness really is a mindset. That’s important to remember. Because when you’re thankful for all your blessings in life, then you don’t allow the minor inconveniences to affect yourself nearly as much. 

For example – everything can be stressful this time of year – from the approval of your In-laws, to having to hear Mariah Carey’s Christmas songs played ever since Halloween ended, to leaving your defense back in Knoxville, even when you’re a at a 22 point favor. *cough* Tennessee  *cough*. 

Kim Penland: Go Gamecocks!

Craig Penland: Our frame of mind can get us through life’s stressors. Even the things we lack control over like coffee, cold coffee, incorrect food orders like Chick fil A – does that even happen? 

Kim Penland: Absolutely not. 

Craig Penland: When Jeans no longer fit. These things are not nearly as important to us in this world in comparison to family and good fastener friends. And it’s these good things we need to focus on. That’s why this Thanksgiving, I want to express my gratitude to all the incredible people who make our company great, our talented and hardworking staff, our supportive customers, our amazing suppliers, and our tireless freight forwarders. 

Therefore I’d like to use this blog to shine a light on the people that have made this past year so remarkable for us here at Eurolink. Start with my incredible team that consists of Rebekah, Rodney, Josh, Pete, Osbaldo, Chris, Cameron, David and Kim. It’s an absolute honor and privilege to get to come to work with these incredible people each and every day. 

You know, Proverbs 19:4 states “Wealth maketh many friends, but the poor is separated from his neighbor.”

A good sale or purchase is important to any and all companies, still yet a company’s wealth must be measured by its relationships, not just among our immediate families, but with all of you. 

So our customers are always supportive and provide us with valuable feedback that helps us to continue to improve. We truly appreciate your loyalty and support. Honestly, without you we wouldn’t be where we are today. We would literally just be a group of people sitting around in a warehouse wondering why we have all these nuts sitting on our shelves. 

And finally, a big thank you goes out to all of our suppliers and freight forwarders. These organizations provide us with the materials that we need to help fulfill our promises to you, our customers. And they always, always deliver on time. Well, pretty close always. *wink*

So from the bottom of my heart, I’d like to thank you. I am truly grateful for each and every one of you and I hope you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving. I appreciate you allowing me to take this opportunity to shine a light on a few of the people that I’m so grateful for.
