EUROLINK FSS VLOG TRANSCRIPT
Do you ever think about your company’s culture? I mean, seriously, what could possibly be more important in today’s world than company culture? Personally, I can’t think of a single thing.
Here at Eurolink, we take our company culture very seriously. We’ve invested millions within with an ‘M’ upon millions of dollars in our culture. We’ve hired the highest-powered corporate consultants to do it. We’re even using a secret Hollywood formula to engage in deep genetic testing to determine the biometric markers that build a robust, rich company culture – one, complete with nonstop perks, and corporate buzzwords galore.
At Eurolink we’ve invested in in-house massage therapists that have recently fled from the Cleveland area, and personalized television dramas that were canceled by Netflix. Apparently, there are hundreds of them, and they’re all very popular. So anyway, we’ve got them on a nonstop 24-hour loop here at the office. And courses in self-control taught by none other than Will Smith. I can’t believe we got so cheap.
You know what they say? Company culture is what happens when the boss leaves the room and, here at Eurolink, whenever I leave the room I hear laughter so I know my staff is having fun here at Eurolink. Maybe.
Okay, seriously. We’re a small business. We don’t pay for company culture. We built it. We built it with our service to our customers and our service to our community around us. We believe we do better when those around us are doing better. As a company. We donate to a group that is trying to bring an end to human sex trafficking to addiction recovery facilities, to Toys for Tots, and to multiple Christian ministries. We’re also deeply involved in volunteer efforts, and we do so inside and outside the office. Because we believe that lending a helping hand to a brother or sister in need, starts here at home and then moves outward.
You know, in the Gospel of John, Jesus told his disciples “A new command I give you: Love one another as I have loved you. So you must love one another. By this everyone will know you are my disciples if you love one another.”
As a company, we choose to live out this command so that everyone will know who we are and what we stand for.
We also believe in a customer-first approach. Our customers, you guys, have helped us to get to where we are today. And we believe our focus should always be based on your needs. We have an amazing staff here at Eurolink that is community oriented and working here truly feels like working with a family, a warped, slightly twisted family but a family nonetheless, and one that believes in its mission of getting hard-to-find metric fasteners to our customers quickly. To us. This means keeping things friendly, having fun, and getting the job done for those that we serve.
So now, if you will excuse me, I have a meeting with my accountant you know, they were referred to me by Enron. Apparently, we’ve made about $3 billion of fake profits this year and somehow no one’s going to jail for it.
As always, if you have any comments, questions, or concerns or would like to request a quote for any hard-to-find metric fasteners give us a call at (864) 801-0505.
